same. most of mine comes from roleplaying game stats or general research... and some urban legends. Cop struggles with bad guy on stairs, bad guy throws cop down a single flight - in the time it takes him to reach the ground, the cop empties his 9mm clip into the bad guy.
I have wondered that, so I looked up what I could. Apparently a .357 cartridge (or there about, I'm using fictionalised calibres) wouldn't really work in a submachine gun for some reason. A 'smaller' rifle-type bullet would probably deliver more energy with less recoil.
Well, a .357 Magnum Carbine then. Perhaps with the design of a MP 7, or a Heckler and Koch HK 33, they can make it smaller. Remember the first die hard? Most of what you think they are MP5 in fact are HK33 and HK93 converted
In case of zombie apocalypse, you could be my gun expert. Or maybe FPS Russia.
The thing Im going to do is grab either a 1911, FN High Power, Taurus PT92 or berretta M9, and an AAC TI RANT supressor. Next, a M4 carbine, M16A3, or FN FNC, or M14, a X6 scope, a yacare machete, a KA Bar(which I already have), and get a boat from a friend of mine. We will go upstream, while killing zombies and collecting fuel, to reach the Falklands. Enter (or hijack) a british frigate and then go through the Magallanes pass to the pacific. A lot of islands to discover, and a lot of fresh water and fruits, important to sailors.
Another plan: Equip with every combat knife you can get, rob a pistol, a rifle, go to the air force ( I know how to fly a B26, so I dont worry), and get to the falklands, repeat final part of plan 1. Done.
